About me

I blend strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

Sruthi Nair, Senior Product Marketing leader

Over the past 10+ years, I’ve helped bring complex B2B SaaS, AI, and fintech products to market, shaping how they are positioned, launched, and adopted. I’m especially drawn to emerging technologies where the category is still evolving, the story has yet to be written, and product marketing can help define both.

My sweet spot is connecting the dots between customer needs, product capabilities, and market opportunity. I dig into what customers truly care about, uncover the insights that will shape the strategy, and translate them into clear positioning, compelling narratives, and go-to-market programs that drive understanding, adoption, and growth.

I’m naturally curious, highly collaborative, and hands-on. I do my best work alongside product, sales, engineering, and customer teams, turning ambitious ideas into products people understand, trust, and want to use.

The path here

The road to product marketing leadership

  1. 2015 — 2017

    Centercode

    Building a customer-first foundation

At Centercode, a platform for beta testing and customer validation, I worked across email campaigns, ad campaigns, content, and product marketing initiatives. I also represented the company at industry events including CES and SXSW, engaging directly with customers and the broader market. Working in a business centered on customer feedback gave me an early appreciation for how customer insight can shape both product decisions and go-to-market strategy.

  2. 2017 — 2020

    Realtor.com

    Learning go-to-market at scale

At Realtor.com, I managed B2B email, lifecycle, and demand generation campaigns for products serving real estate professionals. I built and optimized programs across the customer journey, using performance data to strengthen messaging, engagement, and conversion. Working across sales, design, product, and leadership gave me firsthand experience bringing coordinated go-to-market programs to life within a large organization.

  3. 2020 — 2022

    Bitcoin IRA

Finding my way into product marketing

At Bitcoin IRA, I started in demand generation, but when the company began preparing to launch its mobile app, I saw an opportunity to step in and lead the go-to-market work. I took on positioning and messaging, customer research, beta communications, launch strategy, onboarding, and adoption. That experience led to my move into product marketing.

  4. 2022 — 2026

    Sense

Leading product marketing for an AI portfolio

At Sense, I led product marketing across a portfolio of AI-powered products, owning positioning, messaging, GTM strategy, launches, competitive intelligence, and sales enablement. I took new AI products and agentic capabilities from 0-to-1, partnering closely with product and engineering from early development through launch and adoption. As the sole product marketer, I also built the frameworks and processes that scaled how we brought products to market across the portfolio.

How I think

Four things I keep coming back to

01

Customer insight comes first

The strongest positioning starts with the customer. Ongoing research, conversations, and feedback aren't just part of a launch. They shape the story from the beginning.

02

Clarity requires depth

Making complex technology simple starts with understanding it deeply. I dig into the technical details first then translate them into a story that makes the value clear without losing what makes the product different.

03

Great GTM should be repeatable

Successful launches start with a clear, repeatable foundation. Clear governance, shared frameworks, and consistent processes help teams move faster, stay aligned, and make every launch stronger than the last.

04

Product marketing is a team sport

The best positioning doesn't happen in a marketing silo. Great positioning comes from working closely with product, engineering, sales, customer success, and leadership to challenge assumptions, align on what's true, and build a story the entire organization can stand behind.

Currently curious about

Agentic AI and how it changes the way we think about, position, and bring software to market. As products evolve from tools that support work to systems that can reason, act, and complete work autonomously, the value proposition changes with them. I'm especially interested in what that shift means for buyer trust, differentiation, adoption, and how we communicate the role of AI in the way people work.

Beyond product marketing

Outside of work, I'm happiest with a good book, a Pilates class, or a long hike somewhere with a view. I love watching basketball, exploring new places, and trying restaurants I've had bookmarked for way too long. I'm a big believer in always having something to look forward to, whether it's a trip on the calendar, a new restaurant to try, or a weekend spent outside. A perfect weekend usually includes some combination of all of the above.

See how this thinking shows up in the work.
